The newly re-designed MovieFlix site with 1200+ full-length movies will feature Night of the Living Dead, The Chinese Connection, Three Stooges, Superman, Gumby, A Boy and His Dog and others like John Wayne and Hitchcock. In addition, members can easily navigate the much larger database of movies with the site's newly introduced Advanced Search function, which allows them to pinpoint their favorite movies by genre and content type as well as via the New Arrivals and the MovieFlix Top 40 section which is continually updated. The new MovieFlix site will also incorporate interactive features including an online movie festival that allows members to vote for their favorite movies and view the results at the MovieFlix Top 40. Another interactive feature incorporated in the new site includes a Quick Vote feature that allows members to vote on questions that other members submit to the site.
As part of the re-launch MovieFlix has partnered with MCI/Worldcom to offer free to its members pre-paid MovieFlix phone cards as well as introduce a DVD giveaway contest for all new members who register.
